The Ebb and Flow

Ebb and flow,
Dims the light inside the cage,
Comes and goes,
Feeding on rage,
And I find no solace in your embrace.

The matter is put to rest,
And our breath moves ahead.

The tidal wave,
Rushing in fast beckons the fog,
Confusion may
Leave us disgraced,
But the lies add up,
And now it’s far too late.

The ship has sunk in this boundless ocean,
Made of constant tears in constant motion.

Now we are free,
For the world,
A gift, a memory
That’s always there,
To push ahead.
Released,
There’s finally solace in your embrace.
